Beauty isn't only something that can be seen on the area; it too can be reveled deeper within a person. Girl have inclination to seek a top standard of beauty that society offers reared associated with. It is this desire which has falsely recently been placed after woman; because of it is not just a woman's look or body shape, it is who also she is on the inside. Someone who holds themselves confidently and displays no do it yourself doubt brings an appeal to these people that other folks are drawn to. A woman called Maya Angelou is someone who shows these types of qualities. Maya was " an American author and poet who has been called 'America's most noticeable black female autobiographer'". The lady was also " extremely respected being a spokesperson pertaining to black persons and women[... ]Her books, centered on themes such as identity, along with racism, in many cases are used because set text messages in universities and schools internationally" (poemhunter. com). Maya Angelou, " Phenomenal Woman" the author clarifies what it is which makes her an excellent woman through the use of repetition, symbolism, and tropes to motivate readers being confident and accepting of who they actually are.
Repetition plays a significant function in the author's poem to contribute the effect and point the author is intending to make. One of the primary uses of repetition in Maya's composition is at the conclusion of every stanza, after the lady describes for what reason she is extraordinary. " I'm a woman/Phenomenally/ Phenomenal woman/That's me" (Angelou lines 10-13). By reproducing these lines it provides the readers back to why she knows she actually is an exceptional person while emphasizing her main point the lady wants to communicate to her readers. She wants woman to feel good, confident, also to have no home doubt of who they are. These lines help to make a effect on the reader whenever they are read. The reader may absorb the author's phrases as if we were holding their own, " That's me" (Angelou line 13), while getting a sense of who have Maya is just as a person.
